Because of our business-friendly regulatory framework, mature and interconnected mobility amenities (including Charlotte Douglas International airport), and so much more, we offer an incredible way of life! And we have a window to keep doing it right; to keep in seats of power, the leadership that has brought us to this level of prosperity.
We don’t want to succumb to the deterioration other cities are now experiencing; areas fraught with burdensome regulations, the unreasonable escalation of housing costs, the mass exit of businesses, and the exploding taxes that come from bad decisions and fear-based legislation. History has repeatedly shown us that by following a “nothing should change because we are happy with our status quo” philosophy, results in serious economic decline that is often irreversible.
What We’re Doing Now:
Therefore, we believe in educating our communities to understand that voting for leaders who govern using business minded experience, that employ a smart growth posture, and that pave the way for equal economic opportunity is best. What we don’t support is a solution that slams the door on land ownership rights, business rights, and individual rights.
