On Tuesday, May 5, the Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners’ Economic Development Committee is scheduled to meet at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center, Room 280, from 3:30 – 5 p.m. Committee members are slated to receive updates on Township Connections, a program that brings Mecklenburg County’s small business services to the towns of Cornelius, Davidson, Huntersville, Matthews, Mint Hill and Pineville. This meeting is open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend in-person or via Zoom.

The Economic Development Committee, chaired by Commissioner Susan Rodriguez-McDowell, is responsible for making recommendations that contribute to business and job growth in Mecklenburg County.
