Notice is hereby given that on August 6, 2025, a public hearing as required by NCGS 105 507.1(a) will be held by the Mecklenburg County Board of County Commissioner to receive public comments on the Public Access to Valuable Equity (P.A.V.E.) Act.
Persons desiring to speak can sign up online or call 980-314-2912. The deadline to register online is 3 p.m. the day of the meeting. After 3 p.m., persons can sign up at the meeting up until the hearing is reached on the agenda. The hearing will commence at 6:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard and will be held in the Meeting Chamber of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center located at 600 East Fourth Street, Charlotte, North Carolina, 28202.
