By way of background, John attended Charlotte Country Day School and then the University of North Carolina. His experience includes running a furniture and millwork plant in South Carolina, selling product all over the United States. He returned to Charlotte in 2009 to begin a career in the construction industry bringing years of hands-on experience in woodwork and installation, and a business background. Described as having an eye for detail, that and other talents are reflected in his vision for Bourgeois McGinn. His goal for Bourgeois McGinn from its inception was to build a firm deserving of the high-end residential market. When not working, John enjoys hunting, fishing, exercise and spending time with his wife and two children.
