At-large Commissioner Yvette Townsend-Ingram is hosting a community meeting on Saturday, August 16 from 10:00AM – 11:30AM (doors will open at 9:30AM).  The meeting will be at Camino (133 Stetson Dr, Charlotte, NC 28262).  The theme for the meeting is Food Security:  Increasing and improving healthy food environments and strengthening healthy food access.

Anyone who is interested in learning more about improving health outcomes and/or how to improve awareness and use of County services is encouraged to attend.  The experience will include presentations, table talk, and Q&A with Commissioner Townsend-Ingram.  A cooking demo will also be available!  Please RSVP no later than Monday, August 11.
