Dr. Chisa Brookes is the Managing Director of Brookes Construction, a federally certified 8(a) and Woman-Owned Small Business serving commercial and public-sector clients across the region. She has served as a prime contractor at Charlotte Douglas International Airport and on county and private-sector commercial projects.
Chisa has worked in real estate since 2015, later transitioning into commercial real estate where she focuses on land development, industrial, and investment sales. She also partners with Acre X to provide commercial real estate advisory services centered on CRE strategy, site selection support, and disciplined investment positioning across the Southeast.
Before leading in construction and commercial real estate, Chisa spent 10 years in oil and gas and advanced engineering environments across North America, Asia, and Australia. Her background includes risk management for a $1B industrial facility, representation within a $24M research consortium, and technical contributions resulting in multiple patents. She also lived and worked in Singapore, gaining firsthand experience in global operations and international business environments.
This foundation supports Chisa’s growing focus on commercial real estate advisory, investment sales positioning, and site selection support for manufacturing and industrial users, including international firms evaluating U.S. expansion into the Southeast.
Chisa serves on the NC REALTORS® Region 8 Board of Directors and the Canopy REALTOR® Association REBIC Board of Governors and is active across commercial and economic development organizations throughout the Charlotte MSA. She also served as a 2024 board member of the Home Builders Association of Greater Charlotte. Her construction company was highlighted in a Good Morning America clip for disaster-relief housing initiatives in Western North Carolina.
