Zach Almond

Zach Almond currently serves REBIC as one of our valued Area Advocacy Managers representing Cabarrus and Union Counties. His activity with REBIC means spending an extensive amount of time at Council and Commission meetings advocating for our industry and taking deep dives into critical issues while working to ensure positive outcomes.
Heavily involved in all levels of political activity since the age of 14, Zach was elected to the Stanly County Commission at age 23, making him one of the youngest Commissioners in the state of North Carolina. In high school he served as Chairman of the State Teenage Republicans. While attending Wingate University, he was Chairman of the North Carolina College Republicans in which he oversaw over 30 chapters across North Carolina. It is also where he developed an innovative voter contact program. He has experienced great success working with over 75 candidates in both North and South Carolina, including involvement with United States Senate campaigns and several incumbent members of Congress, a few of which are from North Carolina. Zach has also worked with a number of members of the North Carolina General Assembly and is currently the Campaign Manager for Dan Bishop in his run for Attorney General.
Zach is married to his lovely wife Katlyn. They have a dog Conway and split their time between the Charlotte area and Raleigh.
