The planning process lets the community… \nWork collaboratively to ENVISION an ideal future\, \nCreate a PLAN focused on that future\, and \nPrepare the County to ACT in the years to come. \nA key piece of the plan will be the Future Land Use Map\, which will guide future growth and development. A series of framework elements will support the land use strategy. These framework elements will touch on topics such as: \n\nTransportation + Mobility\nEconomic Development\nHousing\nInfrastructure + Public Services\nRecreation + Trails\nNatural Resources + Environmental\n\n\nGet Involved\n\n\nLet your voice be heard! We need your input in three important ways. \n\nAttend a workshop! Join us at one of the three identical community workshops. The workshops will be fun and interactive.\nComplete the online survey! It will only take a few minutes to weigh on key issues facing Gaston County.\nDrop pins on the interactive map! Show us all of the strong and weak places in the County.
